Typically, plastic containers have a neck with a thread and a screw cap. Moreover, this site is quite durable and maintains tightness even after repeated use. How not to take advantage of such properties!

Clip for plastic bags

We collect the open side of the plastic bag with sugar, cereals, cleaning products, etc. into a tourniquet, insert it into the neck with a screwed-off cork, wrap it around and evenly distribute the film in a circle. Gently, without undue zeal, twist the lid. The product is easily and securely packaged.

To use the contents of the package, unscrew the lid, pour out the required amount of product and screw the lid again.

Mini capacity for small items

With a construction knife, cut off the neck with caps from two plastic bottles. With scissors, we trim the sections almost to a stiffening ring, leaving only low shoulders. With sandpaper, align the cut plane, removing burrs and tubercles.

We draw a marker on a piece of thick cardboard on the outer contour of the shoulders and with a margin cut it with scissors.

We apply glue to the cut of one neck and press a cardboard circle to it, which is also coated with glue along the contour, and fix the second neck on it.

After the glue dries, we use the resulting container to store various small things, even incompatible ones, since a cardboard circle divides the internal volume into two isolated cavities.

This mini-container can be used in camping trips for storage, for example, matches, because it does not allow moisture to pass through.

Paraffin candle holder

A burning candle, when melted, forms ugly smudges on the surface that are difficult to remove.
This can be avoided by installing a lit candle in the cap of a plastic bottle. The cooled smudges are easily removed, therefore the cover can be used repeatedly.

Fluid dispenser

Holding the cap over the edge with pliers, we heat it from below with a lighter flame until the plastic softens.

Then, without delay, we set a toothpick in the center top and try, as it were, to pierce the softened plastic.

Hold the toothpick in the extreme position until the elongated and hollow inside the spout hardens. Then, with scissors, we cut off the tip of the nose so that the cavity inside gets an outlet.

We wind the modified cap onto the water bottle and squeeze slightly, as a result, the liquid will flow out of it economically in a thin stream.

Toothbrush holder

On the diametrically opposite sides of the plastic bottle cap, we make longitudinal cutouts with a construction knife that are wide enough to hold the handle. We also remove parts of the circular stiffener in the direction of the cuts.

We glue the modified cover with the bottom to the wall so that the cutouts are located vertically. We install the handle of the brush with the bristles up.
