What are skeletonized leaves? These are leaves in which only the "skeleton" has remained - that is, veins, and all the soft tissues have been removed. Under natural conditions, such leaves are obtained if, for example, they lie all winter in a stream or on moist soil.
But you can get such beautiful leaves and houses.
It should be noted that not all leaves respond equally well to skeletonization - here you need to experiment. Usually good skeletons are obtained from leaves of maple, poplar, walnut, plane tree, linden, birch.
There are many ways to skeletonize, but consider the simplest and most lazy one.
Select the appropriate leaves and put them in a glass jar, fill with water and close the nylon cover. It remains only to wait - at least 1 month. To speed up the process, you can add a couple of spoons of soda. From time to time, you can open the lid and check whether the leaves are ready. This is done as follows: gently rub the sheet with your fingers, dropping it into a bowl of water. If soft tissue easily leaves, leaving a network of veins - the leaf is "ripe". If not, dip it again in the jar to the rest of the leaves.

Put finished skeletons on a blank sheet of paper to dry.

If you want to get snow-white leaves, you can whiten them by lowering them for 1 hour in a container with "White". After the procedure, rinse the skeletons with clean water and dry on paper.

You can use such leaves in a variety of decor of interior items, scrapbooking, floral paintings, etc.
