Clean air in a home workshop or garage is the key to your health. And as you know, it’s not worth saving on health.

True, factory filtering systems cost decent money, and not everyone can afford it. What to do?

Alternatively, you can use a homemade filter to clean the air. And in this review, the wizard shows how to make it.

Of the materials required: plywood 10 mm thick, metal profile 27 * 28 mm, steel mesh with cells 2x2 cm, filter fabric made of polyester.

The main stages of work

First of all, the author cuts two pieces with a size of 300x120 mm and two pieces of 280x120 mm from a piece of plywood 10 mm thick.

Next, from these blanks, it will be necessary to assemble a square box (frame of the homemade body).

The author makes the frame of the filter itself from a metal UD profile with a size of 27 * 28 mm.

Scissors for metal need to be cut in the right places, after which we fold the long profile into a square-shaped frame (size - 280x280 mm).

At the corners of the frame, the author drills holes, and then fastens the profile with rivets. Next to the frame you need to attach the grid.

At the next stage, we install a metal frame inside a wooden box.

Then, inside the metal frame, the master stuffs a filter cloth (polyester).

In the end, it remains only to screw a piece of plywood with a duct fan (diameter - 150 mm), paint the case, perform electrical work and install a decorative grille.

Details on how to make a filter for air purification can be seen in the video.
