Before the new year, we have been looking for gifts for friends and relatives for a long time. I want to surprise and please, but it is very easy to do, giving something done by yourself. Homemade soap is an excellent option! But what if you have never done this and are completely unsure where to start? And you need to start with simple recipes using simple forms.
For the manufacture of two-sided soap "Herringbone" we need:
1. White soap base.
2. Base oils for soap enrichment (shea butter, grape seed oil, peach oil, and so on).
3. Essential oils (coniferous aromas or citrus fruits are good).
4. Cosmetic dye "Flora" (green).
5. Form "Flat herringbone".
6. The knife.
7. Wooden skewer.
8. Dishes for heating soap.

Divide the white soap base in half in different dishes. You can first work with a white base, and then in the same dish, directly in the remnants of the white soap, add the second half and stain it with dye. We heat the base in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. The main thing is not to bring to a boil. Otherwise, the base will lose its soap properties, and the smell will be disgusting! We enrich the base with oils, add essential oil (or suitable cosmetic fragrances). My Christmas trees smell like sweet orange essential oil and are enriched with shea butter. Mix the dye and oil thoroughly with a wooden skewer. Spray the soap form with alcohol from a spray bottle. Pour into the form soap of white or green color to half the form.

We are waiting for the soap to dry completely. Spray with alcohol again and pour until the end of the form on top of the first layer. Spray with alcohol several more times so that unnecessary bubbles disappear. We take out the soap after completely solidifying it in the form. Soap from the mold is better to immediately wrap in cling film to preserve the gloss and leave no fingerprints.
Fragrant and festive, as well as a very simple soap "Herringbone" is ready!
