When conducting photo or video shooting, it is extremely important to ensure proper and good lighting. And for this, you can use the homemade "spotlight" from the old rim of a bicycle and LED strip.
The design itself is quite simple, so everyone can repeat it if desired. You only need to buy an LED strip, and the old rim of a bicycle wheel can be found without problems on a metal receiver or in a neighbor’s garage.
The first step is to remove the needles, and then clean the surface of the rim with a grinder with a blade and a disk. In principle, you can buy a new rim in the store - it is inexpensive. Then in general there will be no need to use an angle grinder.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, you will need to bend the metal strip with an arc, and then drill holes at the edges. It will also be necessary to drill holes in the rim itself in order to attach it to the strip using bolts and nuts.
Then it remains only to glue the LED strip to the inner side of the rim, and fix the "spotlight" on a metal rack. Homemade is ready!
