DIY cement gun

During construction work, it becomes necessary to fill joints and cavities on vertical surfaces. Throwing the right place with mortar from the spatula in an old and inefficient way, a cement gun is useful for such needs.

A homemade device works from a drill or a screwdriver. The feeding principle is based on the rotation of the worm shaft to which the solution flows by gravity from the tank. The worm shaft is made very simply: a wire is wound on a steel rod in a spiral.

The gun consists of a piece of polypropylene pipe inside which there is a worm, a container embedded in the middle of a plastic bottle and nozzle borrowed from a sealant tube.
