This home-made device, which is easy to do with your own hands, is a very practical and necessary tool for the home workshop and garage - and especially it will be useful to those who are independently engaged in car repair, as well as assembling / disassembling components and assemblies.
To make this simple tool you will need a file handle (it can be removed from the old file or bought at any hardware store) and a small segment of a thin tube (steel, aluminum or copper).
In this case, a small piece from the brake pipe of a VAZ car will be used, and also a small segment of the steel cable will be needed. When all the parts for homemade are assembled on the table, you can begin to manufacture mini brushes.
The main stages of work
First of all, you need to cut a small segment from the metal tube - it should be about the same length as a wooden handle. Then in the handle for the file you need to expand the hole to such a diameter so that it is slightly smaller than the diameter of the tube.
After that, we hammer the tube into the resulting hole. Then we cut off a small piece of the steel cable and insert it into the tube so that the end remains about 1.5 cm long. Next, rivet the edge of the tube with a conventional hammer.
Excessive protruding cable can be cut off with a grinder. Now the homemade tool is completely ready for use. Using such a compact device, it is possible to wash various hard-to-reach spots on parts that are simply not available for a conventional metal brush.
