In this review, the author suggests making a do-it-yourself simple home-made "nozzle" on a small grinder (angle grinder). And for this, he uses a piece of the old chain from a chainsaw.
We want to note right away that the purpose of this article is simply to talk about this idea. At the same time, we strongly do not recommend repeating the process of making homemade products at home, as this can be very dangerous.
Why do we need this "nozzle"? The author uses it to process wood blanks, as well as to make recesses in the bars.
However, this can be done in much safer ways, and what the author suggests is not worth repeating (all the more, working with angle grinders without a protective casing).
The process of making a homemade "nozzle"
First, the master measures the length of the chain he needs and drills the rivets along the edges of the segment, picking up a drill of a suitable diameter. You can also disconnect the chain by sewing off the rivet caps with a file, however this will take longer.
Then the edges of the chain segment must be connected by making a new rivet. In this case, the author uses a piece of self-tapping screw without thread. You can use a conventional steel rod.
The resulting "bagel" is installed on the grinder and fixed with a clamping nut. Here, in fact, the whole process of manufacturing this "nozzle". Once again we pay attention that it is not worth repeating it at home or in a garage.
