To grind different workpieces of metal and wood, you can use the grinding nozzle for a screwdriver or electric drill. And you can make it yourself from improvised materials.

For the manufacture of a grinding nozzle, a piece of a wooden bar of 50x50 mm is required. You will also need sandpaper (preferably on a fabric basis).

First of all, you need to saw off a piece of a bar that is suitable in size (if there is no bar, you can also glue a cube of plywood). Then the master makes a marking on the end part and drills through holes.

The main stages of work

In the center of the workpiece, one through hole must be drilled. It will be necessary to insert a long bolt with a flat head into it, which is fixed on the back with a nut.

The result is a "shank" that will be clamped in the chuck of a screwdriver or electric drill.

At the next stage, the author gives the blank from the bar a rounded shape. Then, using a hand saw, you need to make cuts for sandpaper.

And then it remains only to cut the “petals” of the desired size from the sandpaper with scissors, and then insert them into the slots.

The nozzle turned out to be universal, since pieces of sandpaper of different grain sizes can be inserted into it, which is very convenient. Also, a similar nozzle can be made from the motor armature (see here).
