Beautiful, durable and inexpensive furniture - this is now not found. If you need the same chair, with all these parameters, then you either need to completely do it yourself, or remake a strong grandfather chair. The first option is complex and not everyone will master it, but everyone can afford to change the old chair from the youth of your grandfather or grandmother. Chairs were previously made in good faith, but over time, the appearance could have deteriorated, which did not affect its strength. Let's bring youth back to a dull chair.

What we need:
  • old chair;
  • a spray can of golden color;
  • 8 screws;
  • metal brush;
  • upholstery fabric.

How we will bring beauty to the chair:

1. Unscrew old screws. They will need to be replaced with new ones, because during the time they have become unusable.

2. Use a metal brush to remove rust, drips of old paint and other contaminants.

3. Shake the spray can thoroughly and cover the chair frame. Strictly adhere to the recommendations for use, which are prescribed on the spray can. The paint is highly atomized, so it is best to use a respirator or medical face mask to avoid getting paint into the body. The place for painting should be either carefully covered with a film so as not to stain it, or painted where traces of paint are insignificant. It is necessary to cover the frame in several layers, allowing each layer to dry thoroughly. The drying time for each paint is individual and depends on the room temperature.

4. Upholstery fabric you can buy or use one of the unnecessary things. In our case, these are covers for sofa cushions from an old sofa. Remove the old upholstery. Cut the desired size of the new cover, sew and put on the seat.

5. Using screws, install the seat on the frame.

6. A similar operation is carried out with the back of the chair. For the back of the chair to sit beautifully and tightly, you need to fix it with a construction stapler.

7. Install the back of the chair to the frame.

P.S. The chair is ready to serve faithfully for more than one year. The issue price is 55 hryvnias for a spray can of paint.
