At the edges of a homemade clamp we weld two plates with holes for bolt fastening, and we attach a piece of steel strip to the clamping clip using welding. Next, we focus on the sleeve of a suitable diameter, in which we cut the M14 thread.
We weld a square-shaped profile pipe to the edge of the strip by placing two nuts under it. Using a profile of a smaller diameter and a spring, we connect the pipe to a tension roller mechanism made of three bearings, a section of the profile and an M7 bolt without a cap, since the edge of the stud will be scalded.
In addition, two metal plates will need to be welded to the profile pipe so that the sandpaper does not “walk” during the grinding process. Also in the side wall of the profile, you can make a longitudinal cut and put a bolt with a nut to adjust the tension of the sanding belt.
