To make jam you will need the ingredients:
1. Strawberry in the amount of 500 g.
2. Sugar - 300 g.
Stages of making strawberry jam.
To begin with, we will prepare the berries. To do this, peel the strawberries from the tails. Then we wash the berries in a large amount of water, while changing the water periodically. At the end, lay the strawberries in a colander and rinse again. Excess water should drain. The berries are ready!
Pour sugar into a bowl with strawberries. Mix the ingredients and remove the strawberries in the refrigerator. In this form, strawberries should stand for at least 8 hours. 3
3. During this time, strawberries will start juice.
Pour the strawberry mass into the pan. Let the mass boil.
After boiling the mass, remove the pan from the heat. Beat the mass with a blender. A homogeneous strawberry mass should be obtained. Again we put the pot with strawberry puree on the fire. The mass should boil, after which we remove the pan from the stove and set the jam aside until it cools completely.
In a similar way, boil the strawberry mass 3 times. The cooking process can be continued for several days.
During cooking, foam will form on the surface of the mass, it must be removed periodically.
As soon as the mass reaches a boil for the third time, it must be poured into a clean, sterile jar.
Roll up jars with jam caps. After that, the jars are set in a warm place until the strawberry mass is completely cooled. Keep the jam in the cellar.
Strawberry jam, prepared in this way, is very aromatic and delicious. The jam retains all the nutrients.
The advantage of jam is that it can be used not only with tea, but also as a filling for baking.
