POSTCARD "SWAN"

To complete the card you will need:
1. The basis for a black postcard in the dimensions of 10x15 cm or black cardboard;
2. Paper for quilling white, orange, burgundy;
3. Double-sided foam tape;
4. Glue, scissors, a common quilling tool and scallop, tweezers;
As you can see, there are not many elements for making a card. But its implementation is not the easiest, if you have not previously worked with such a quilling tool as a scallop. First, prepare the basis for the card, if you do not have it. To do this, cut a rectangle measuring 15x21 cm from black cardboard, then gently bend it in half. Next, proceed to the execution of the swan. To do this, take white quilling paper and a scallop. We make the longest loop in the center, fix it with glue at the bottom. Now we make the next loop to the right one step lower, similarly we perform a loop to the left side and so we go down a step lower each time, fixing it with glue. There should be at least six such steps.

Further, from a white quilling paper 40 cm long, we prepare the basis for the torso. To do this, we make a large roll and press it with our fingers on one side, which will serve as the tail of the swan. We take white quilling paper 15 cm long, bend it three times and give the finished element a neck shape with a bend (as in the photo). From orange paper for quilling 5 cm long, we make a small roll, give it the shape of a swan's beak. From burgundy quilling paper 30-40 cm long, we roll, dissolve it and give the shape of a heart.

When all the elements are ready, we begin to fasten them to the black base. First, glue the base of the body from the bottom to the right of the center of our postcard. Then we take a double-sided foam tape with dimensions of 1x1 cm, we fix it over the base for the body. We attach to the scotch a voluminous body of a swan made with the help of a scallop. We attach the neck, beak. Glue the heart on top right. An unusual do-it-yourself postcard with a minimal amount of elements is ready!
