If your baby’s outfit for her baby doll is outdated, I suggest updating it. It looks very original. You can knit a hat for a baby or a set consisting of a hat and a scarf. In this case, they will look very harmonious with the chrysalis. For knitting a costume I use acrylic yarn of various colors. Initially, it was thought to knit a suit in all colors of the rainbow, but just then there was no blue yarn at home, and I decided to try to knit without blue. Hook 2 mm. You can use any yarn depending on the remnants and fantasies you have.
So let's get started. The beginning of knitting will be made from the bottom of the legs. Each row of the costume will be made with a different color of yarn. To do this, dial 20 VP with red yarn and close it in a ring.

From each loop, knit 1 RLS (single crochet). At the end of the row is a connecting loop, and at the beginning of each row, 1 VP, if the row is knitted with RLS, and 3 VP - if the row consists of SSN.

2nd row: knit similarly to the first. 3rd row: knit with yarn columns (CCH) orange yarn. Make an addition in the first and last loop, that is, knit 2 CCHs from them.

4th row: knit yarn of yellow color all CCH without additions. 5th row: we knit in green as the 3rd row, that is, make 2 additions.

6th row: in blue, similar to the 5th row; 7th row: knit purple yarn as well as the 5th row.

One leg is ready. Similarly, you need to tie the second.

Now you need to knit a row of red SSN yarn, combining the legs in one piece. To do this, knit one trouser leg, then, leaving one loop untied, knit the CCH in the second trouser leg and continue knitting in a round one single piece.

Thus, knit up to 19 rows inclusive.

In the 16th row, it is necessary not to connect the row round in the middle in the back in order to arrange the fastener. Moreover, at the end of the row, it is necessary to tie a chain of 2 VP so that the fastener is overlapped. After this, it is necessary to arrange armholes for knitting sleeves. To do this, divide the knitting into 3 parts and knit separately the back and two parts of the backside. Knit up to 23 rows inclusive.

24th row front part: 6 CCH, 1 PS (half-column), then knit RLS, at the end of the row knit PS and 6 CCH.
