The fireplace is an ancient symbol of peace and prosperity in the house, nowadays this luxury is available only to summer residents. You can enjoy a live fire in a city apartment only with the help of biocaimin. This is the name of a simple device that works on the principle of a burner. As fuel, you can use purified alcohol or special fuel - biofuel.
Making a fireplace with your own hands is not difficult, you will need: a metal cylinder with a diameter of 10-20 cm, two steel sheets of rectangular and square shape, a welding machine, a grinder and a drill for metal.
Step 1. Making the top cover
In a rectangular sheet, we make a slot for the wick 5-15 cm in length and 0.5 cm in width. We drill paired holes for fastening the plugs at a distance of 5 cm from the slot. We bend the sheet, as shown in the video. The item will serve as a biofireplace cover and radiator to remove heat.
Step 2. Making a fire extinguishing plug
We cut a rectangular section 10-20 cm in size from the steel sheet. A metal rod is welded to it, it will serve as a fastener.
Step 3. Welding
We weld both steel sheets to a metal cylinder (it can be made of a steel pipe), as shown in the video. We attach a fire extinguishing cap to the folded sheet.
The bio fireplace is ready
It remains only to fill the filling chamber with cotton and pour alcohol. Make sure that the home-made fireplace is completely tight and stands firmly on the stand. Otherwise, do not pass the fire! Useful advice. Do not tell your neighbors about your bio fireplace - they will be against it.
