After a car repair, parts often remain fully functional. One of these parts is the ball joint. The practical mount for angle grinders on a work bench will not work. Please note that this bracket is suitable only for small grinding work - you do not need to work with a cutting disc!

For this homemade product you will also need a working ball. If you put the killed in the trash, then the mount itself will turn out to be unreliable - the Bulgarian will simply lie on the table. In extreme cases, it is better to buy a new ball joint. For such a useful homemade product, spending a little money is not a pity.

First of all, we clamp the ball in a vice, screw a nut of a suitable diameter on it, and weld it. After welding, carefully beat off the slag. After that, insert another nut into it, but already elongated, and also scald. We clean the welds with an angle grinder.

The main stages of work

Actually, there is nothing special to do here. After two nuts have been welded to the ball joint (regular and long), we cut off a piece of a stud or bolt (after cutting off the cap), onto which we screw two nuts with washers. Then we fasten the ball bearing to the workbench.

Well, then we screw the pin or piece of bolt into the hole in the housing of the angle grinder, then tighten it with a nut. We expose the grinder at the desired angle, and you can grind the details (for example, you can quickly sharpen a pencil or a steel bar, fix the blade on the knife).
