It is difficult to find a lover to clean the skins of vegetables or fruits, and even cut a thin layer, while maintaining a maximum of nutrients that are just closer to the peel. However, there is a solution to this problem! We will manufacture a simple but very useful electrical device with which you can perform this "dirty" work.
To make a universal device for cleaning fruits and vegetables, you will need two electric motors, a pair of batteries, wires, a plastic tube, plywood, a switch, bolts, nuts, and glue.
First of all, you need to make a base from a rectangular sheet of plywood. Cut off the corners and make a hole in it. Take a plastic tube along the length of a little more than plywood, insert it into the hole, and put it on the glue. Next, go to the next step.
Homemade manufacturing process
First, we outline the installation diagram for the parts on the sheet, and then we begin to attach them to the glue. In accordance with the scheme, solder the wires to the electrical parts. You need to make a hole in the tube with a soldering iron - thread the wires for the second engine through it.
We cut a wooden circle with a hole from plywood, wind it onto a hairpin, then install it on the engine. Then we make a cover with holes for protruding parts and assemble the box. We fix the switch to the contacts, install it in the hole prepared for it.
Now we need to make two more structures using pieces of plywood, bolts and nuts. You will also need a spring and wooden sticks. We fasten all the elements of the first design by installing a spring. Take another set of parts. We fix everything together, and clamp inward the half of the blade, bent by an arc. We connect the structures together with a bolt and a nut.
You will also need an element of the product from two pieces of plywood glued together - we fix it on the side to the structure with a blade. We insert the nut into the socket intended for it and put the cutting “installation” on the stud.
We make and install the "cover". We put a plywood plate on the top of the plastic pipe, put a wooden nut on the bolt, and connect the second motor to the wires. And also cover it all with a lid.
We make a holder of fruits and vegetables and install it in a socket on the pin of the first motor. We process wooden parts with a special composition. The electric knife is ready! Now we have a great helper in the kitchen!
