First of all, it will be necessary to cut fifteen blanks with a grinder 12 cm long, and then weld together using a pre-prepared template. First, triangles are made, and then they connect with each other.
The shape should be a geometric figure - an icosahedron. After this, the weld points must be cleaned with a grinder with a petal circle for a more aesthetic look of homemade work. And then you can proceed to the next stage of work.

Further, the author cuts a small piece from the shock absorber body. It will need to be welded to the top of the structure. For the connection, pieces of reinforcement 10 cm long are used. Then, the welded tacks must also be cleaned with a grinder.
At the next stage, the surface of the product is covered with black matte paint. After that, it is necessary to weld the washer and the loop to the trim from the shock absorber body, by which the lampshade will be suspended from the ceiling.
