To clear a large quantity of hazelnuts from hard shells is not an easy task. However, with the help of a homemade device, the process of cleaning hazelnuts will take much less time.

In this case, you do not have to do anything - just pour the unpeeled hazelnuts into the receiver, and wait until the unit gives out the finished result of its work. The walnut kernels themselves remain intact, which is important.

First of all, the master cuts off a piece of steel pipe of the desired diameter. Then it will also be necessary to cut three pieces of a strip of metal with holes along the entire length, and then cut each workpiece in half along.

The main stages of work

Next, you need to mark the piece of pipe, using a hex nut as a template, which is inserted into the end. Then the master draws the longitudinal lines and welds the blanks from the plate.

At the next stage, the master cuts a sheet of plywood into separate pieces, from which the body of the home-made device will then be assembled. Instead of plywood, it is quite possible to use other materials: chipboard, OSB or a board. An electric motor is attached to the side wall.

A piece of tube with welded “blades” of metal plates is put on the motor shaft. Then the master makes the remaining structural elements and proceeds to assembly of the housing. At the last stage, it remains only to connect an electrician and paint the case.

Details on how to make a device for peeling hazelnuts from your own hands, you can see in the video on the website.
