If you are professionally and constantly engaged in carpentry or metalwork in your workshop, then you may be interested in home-made additional metal stops for clamps.

For each improvised emphasis, three pieces of a metal plate with a thickness of about 10 mm, as well as an elongated nut and a stud, will be required. All of these materials are readily available, and getting them is not a problem.

The first step is to weld together three pieces of a metal plate. And in the end, a U-shaped part should be obtained. If you make a set of additional stops, then in this case you will need to weld several such blanks.

The main stages of work

After cleaning the welds, one elongated nut must be welded to one of the "walls" of the U-shaped part. In another "wall" of the part, a hole is drilled in which the thread for the wing bolt is cut.

At the next stage, the master grinds on the lathe clamping "five-copeck", which will need to be fixed on one of the ends of the studs. A handle is attached to the other end. On this, the process of making homemade products can be considered completed.
