In this review, the author offers the idea of manufacturing a budget version of a jigsaw machine for a home workshop. It will take plywood, pieces of a profile pipe and an electric hair clipper.
It should be noted right away that the machine is not only budgetary, but also low-power. For serious work, it will not work. But to cut something out of a thin wooden lamella, a piece of foam rubber, fiberboard or plastic - he will cope with this task.
First of all, it is necessary to cut off a piece of a building corner of 40x40 mm, and drill four holes in it. After that, the author removes the cutting comb from the hair clipper and welds it to the corner.
The main stages of work
In the next step, you will need to remove the cutting knife and make a hole in one of the holes for the screw head. This can be done with a drill on glass and tile (the metal plate itself is made of carbide).
A bolt is inserted into the hole and fixed with a nut. Then the cutting knife is set back. In the cutting comb, you need to make a small slot under the nut, and also screw it into place.
Further, the author fastens the corner with the typewriter to the chipboard (you can also use a piece of plywood as a base). Then it remains only to make another part from the profile pipe.
