You can make a beautiful garden path with your own hands from cement mortar and brick. Such a path can be made both on the territory of a private house, and on a summer cottage.
The first step is to prepare the base for the garden path. The base will need to be leveled and, if possible, tamped.
After that, the author pours the base with water, kneads a cement-sand mortar, and then proceeds to the formation of a garden path.
Work stages
On the base, the author puts a small amount of the ready-made solution, smoothes it and begins to lay the bricks with herringbone.
In principle, you can lay out the whole garden path as a “herringbone” - it looks beautiful. And you can do it as an author: dilute the "Christmas tree" with other patterns of brick. For example, an element in the shape of a circle. In this case, it is necessary to foresee in advance where which elements will be located.
The inside of the circle will also need to be filled with bricks. Or you can just fill it with a solution. In general, how and what to do is at your discretion.
Here we put the garden path in this way. As you can see, there is nothing complicated here. When the main work is completed, it remains only to fill the voids between the bricks.
