In the classic version, the brazier is installed horizontally. However, why not make it vertical? Today, such braziers, braziers are increasingly gaining popularity.

What is the advantage of this design? Well, firstly, due to the fact that the skewers are arranged vertically, the meat does not come in contact with smoke.

And secondly, the design of the barbecue can be made in such a way that skewers with meat can be placed on both sides. And barbecue can be fried more.

In this review, the author shows how to make a simple, one-sided barbecue design. But at the same time, you can put a pan on top, and while barbecue is being prepared, fry other products.

The main stages of work

It will be necessary to cut two pieces of rectangular shape and two long strips from sheet metal.

After that, the author makes a marking on one of the sheets, on which he then drills holes on a drilling machine.

Two strips will need to be welded to the second sheet of metal. Then the author cuts out a rectangular “window” with a grinder - a door will be located here for access to the combustion chamber.

In a strip of metal, the author drills holes, and then cuts it lengthwise and cuts it into pieces of the desired length. The resulting plates with “notches” for skewers need to be welded to the strips.

At the next stage, we weld all the structural elements together. In the upper part of the box, the author welds hinges so that the lid can be fixed. In the lower part you need to weld the legs from the profile pipe.
