The drip irrigation system is very necessary for many garden crops. Without this method of irrigation, no top dressing will produce the desired result.

In this review, the author tells how to organize drip irrigation for varietal cucumbers in the country using a plastic bottle.

To make the simplest drip irrigation in the country, you will need a plastic bottle (preferably 2 liters) and metal bars with a diameter of 8 mm. Moreover, the length of the rods should be approximately 15 cm longer than the length of the bottle.

The main stages of work

First of all, using adhesive tape, you need to wind 2-3 metal rods to the bottle, which will act as legs. Then with a knife, cut the bottom of the PET bottle.

At the next stage, using a soldering iron or a hacksaw for metal in the neck of the bottle, you need to make 2-3 slots up to 3 mm deep. This is required so that even with full tightening, the lid still allows water to pass through.

Next, install the bottle in the right place and fill it with water to the top. To water plants, the water must be warm.

As a result, we got the most primitive drip irrigation for garden crops (cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, etc.). The bottle lasts for about 2-3 hours.
