The mechanical slicer is a simple device for conveniently slicing sausages and vegetables in identical and neat slices.

To make the fixture, you need a wide and narrow plank. Instead of boards, you can use plywood.

In a wide board, which acts as a base, it is necessary to make a groove to the width of a narrow board (it will move back and forth in it).

The main stages of work

At the next stage, we give the narrow board the desired shape: the front edge must be cut at an angle of 45 degrees, and a handle is cut out on the back side.

Next, from a piece of board or plywood, you need to cut a simple U-shaped stop. It is needed in order to fix the movable part of the slicer.

At the last stage, it remains only to cut out the handle on the lower plank. Then the master glues the blade for the stationery knife to the movable part.
