First, we soften the glue on the surface of the plastic with a napkin or cotton pad soaked in a solvent, and then remove it with the same cutter with which the adhesive tape was removed.
Remains of glue that the cutter could not take are removed using the same swab or cloth soaked in white spirit or solvent.
Mounting a used visor
Before applying a new adhesive tape, the part must be degreased. Before installing the visor, it is also necessary to degrease the surface of the car door.
Further, the author approximately installs the mounting brackets (then, if necessary, they can be fixed).
Do not rush to immediately remove the entire protective film from double-sided tape, because when installing a visor on the machine, it can immediately stick to an undesirable position and tearing it off will be very problematic.
