Keeping kitchen knives in drawers is no longer relevant - they should always be at hand. And for this, you can use a desktop magnetic stand. Do it yourself is very simple.

It should be noted that the desktop magnetic stand not only allows you to conveniently store knives or other cutting objects made of metal, but also perfectly complements the interior of the kitchen.

To make the stand, you can use a board or plywood. The first thing you need to cut off two blanks is the base itself and the magnetic panel.

The main stages of work

In a long workpiece (magnetic panel), four holes must be drilled on both sides. We glue round neodymium magnets into them.

Six round pieces must be cut out of the skin, which then need to be glued to the base so that the stand stands confidently on the countertop.

Next, the author cut off two pieces of leather and glues them to the magnetic panel, thereby masking the magnets and giving the product an aesthetic appearance.

At the last stage, it remains only to process the parts and soak them with mineral oil.

After that, you can start assembling, but first you need to drill holes in the center of the base and in the end of the panel itself.
