The complex taste of liquor is its undoubted plus. Cherry and currant leaves give it a mysterious spicy flavor. Cherry branches are also placed in the liquor, and that particular shade appears, which is characteristic of drinks stored in wooden barrels. Cherry and currants get along, berries create a delicious new mix. Readiness for liquor will have to wait only three to four days. During this time, the taste acquires stable stability, and in the future it almost does not change. The strength of the liquor will not be prohibitive, it is consistent with the class of light alcohol-based berry drinks.

Ingredients


  • Cherry - 250 g
  • blackcurrant - 350 g
  • alcohol 95% - 350 ml.,
  • water - 800 ml.,
  • sugar - 350 g
  • citric acid - 1 tsp.,
  • blackcurrant leaves,
  • cherry leaves with sprigs.

The sequence of preparation of liquor


1. So that the liquor does not resemble a fermented liquor, take high-quality ripe cherries and currants. Tear 3 thin cherry twigs with clean young leaves. Cut 6-8 currant leaves.
2. Berries and leaves are washed, no dust should remain.

3. Cherry and currant are transferred to the pan.

4. Add granulated sugar.

5. Put citric acid. The liquor will not be acidic, but citric acid will serve as a unifying principle for cherry and currant berries.

6. Put the collected leaves into the pan.

7. Precisely measure the required amount of water. Pour water into the pan.

8. Boil cherries and currants for 5 minutes, the fire may be medium.

9. When the broth has cooled to room temperature, it is filtered. Throw berries, twigs, leaves. The strained broth is boiled for another minute over high heat. Once again expect complete cooling of the liquid.

10. Pour the liquid into a glass dish. You can take a can or a large bottle.

11. Combine cold sweet berry broth with ethyl alcohol, stir.

12. Close the dishes with a lid, leave for 3-4 days. You do not need to shake or stir the liquor, the drink in silence and darkness will survive all its transformations.
13. Pour the finished liquor into beautiful bottles and put in the refrigerator. A chilled drink can be served immediately. A liqueur made from cherries and black currants will look great next to a delicate biscuit cake.
