I love LEDs. They are economical, durable, and most importantly very beautiful. And I'm always looking for new ways to use them in a new way. Here, for example, is a great way to use two super bright blue LEDs and a tube 8-10 centimeters long. From these components we will make a tube similar to a neon one. A great way to do computer modding.

The tube must be filled with fluorescent liquid, due to this, the effect of a neon lamp can be created. In addition to the components listed above, we will need a fluorescent marker (can be bought at most office supply stores)

Preparation of the dye. Take and disassemble the marker, pull out a rod saturated with paint from it. Let some alcohol or some kind of alcohol-containing solution, such as cologne, pass through it. The resulting concentrate is diluted with water. We got a liquid that reflects light well.

Next, cut off the necessary piece of a transparent tube and firmly insert the LED into one of the ends. At the other end of the tube we pour our liquid. For this operation, I used a plastic bottle with a pointed neck. Pour liquid without bubbles and insert another LED.

For complete tightness, you can glue the ends of the tube with LEDs with glue.

A long tube should not be abused, because if you take too long, its middle will be poorly lit.

Everything, our luminous tube is ready. We check. For this purpose I used batteries - 3 volt tablets.

I experimented a lot with the colors of the LEDs, I even took ultraviolet ones and found out: the most effective are the blue LEDs. They produce the longest tubes that glow more evenly over the entire length than tubes with other LEDs.
