If you often use tape, then pay attention to the paper reel, which is located inside. Usually, when the tape ends, the paper piece is sent to the bin. But real needlewomen never throw anything away and skillfully turn unnecessary at first glance things into very necessary ones.
Today you will learn how to make a box of two bobbins of scotch tape in the shape of a heart. It will be a wonderful gift for a girlfriend or daughter on Valentine's Day on February 14th.
For work you need such components:
  • 2 bobbins from scotch tape;
  • tube with PVA glue;
  • thermal gun;
  • thick cardboard;
  • scissors;
  • a piece of wallpaper;
  • openwork ribbons, braid and flowers.

First, pick up two bobbins from adhesive tape of the same size and thickness.

Use strong scissors or a clerical knife to cut paper rings anywhere.

Using a thermal gun, glue the blanks in the shape of a heart. Make sure that both parts are symmetrical.

Now cut out 2 flat hearts from thick cardboard - this will be the bottom and cover of the future box. Lay the heart on the cardboard and draw a circle around it.

These 2 cardboard hearts should be the result.

Paste them on your favorite wallpaper. You can use fabric, colored, wrapping or crepe paper.
Put a cardboard heart smeared with PVA glue on the back of the wallpaper and cut it with an allowance. Tighten the remaining edges to the wrong side.

Then cut the heart out of the wallpaper to the desired size and glue it on the wrong side.
It should work out: bottom and cover.

Now proceed to wallpapering the side of the bobbins. Cut a wide strip and glue PVA glue around the entire perimeter of the volumetric heart.

Turn the protruding edges of the wallpaper into the middle of the base and fix with glue.

Cut a thin strip of wallpaper and glue it in the middle of the volumetric heart.
This is the middle part of the future box.

Now start assembling the parts. At this stage, a thermal gun is used.
To fix the cover, you need to glue a piece of tape to the cover and to the edge of the middle part. Cover the tape with pieces of wallpaper.

Now the lid can freely open and close.

Fix the bottom of the box with a thermal gun.

It remains only to decorate the craft. Glue the tape on top and bottom on the side to the tone of the wallpaper.

On the lid, place a delicate white ribbon with red and beige knitted flowers.

This is what an open box looks like.

And this is her closed view.

Choose a box decor at your discretion. These can be, for example, flowers made of fabric, crepe paper, satin ribbons or foamiran.
In such a convenient box you can store jewelry, materials for needlework, small parts (buttons, pins) or office supplies.
If you put the box in the kitchen, then it can come in handy for serving sweets or for storing spices.
