How to knit a jacket
The product consists of several parts, which are performed separately, and then sewn together and tied with an elastic band. This is the back, two shelves in front, sleeves and pockets.
Knitting starts from the back. You need to dial 70 air loops and complete 27 rows with double crochets. This is the length of the jacket from the armhole to the bottom. Then you need to reduce the number of loops for the armhole according to the following scheme:

Here's how it would look:

From the armhole to the shoulder 16 rows are made, then two shelves for the shoulders are tied. The result should be such a detail:

Now you can go to the front shelves. For each, a chain of 35 air loops is dialed, 27 rows are knotted, a decrease for the armhole and 13 rows are crocheted. After that, shelves for shoulders are added. Their width is 13 loops.

Finished parts before:

The next step is to carefully stitch the three finished parts of the jacket.

Here is the top of the stitched elements:

It's time to move on to the sleeves. For each, a chain of 40 air loops is dialed, connected to a ring.

The first row is performed without increments with double crochets:

Then in every fourth row you need to add one loop. Here is the sleeve on the sixth row:

The increase should be done like this:

The sleeve is gradually expanding:

Knitting continues:

When the part is equal to the length of the arm from the brush to the shoulder, loops can be reduced. In the first row, five columns need to retreat from the edge and continue knitting in a circle:

The armhole will look like this:

The sleeve is almost ready:

Now it's time to move on to tying the parts with an elastic band. It is best to take the yarn a little thinner than the main thread, otherwise the embossed columns will seem too coarse. The elastic is performed according to the scheme "2 facial columns + 2 wrong".

First, the sleeve is tied with a row of single crochet:

After that, you can go to the gum itself:

The length of the gum is arbitrary, you can make it a little shorter or longer.

The finished sleeve is sewn into the jacket.

The same is done with the second sleeve:

The bottom and neck are also decorated with an elastic band. First, the bottom is tied with a row of single crochet:

Then you can do the gum:

She will pull the jacket down so that she does not bully and does not let in cold air.

You can go to the neck. First, you need to tie it with a series of double crochet columns using the main thread:

In the corners, five columns must be tied together to make the transition smooth:

Now the thread for the elastic you need to do a series of columns without a crochet:

Only then can you perform the gum:

The elastic should be twice as long as the neck so that it can be bent in half and sewn inside the jacket.
It remains to carry out the pockets. For each, a chain of 20 air loops is dialed.

There will be 11 rows in your pocket:

It's time to take a light beige thread and proceed to decorate the jacket. For a pocket you need to cut such a piece of yarn:

You just need to skip the thread between the tables with a hook:

Almost finished pockets:

It remains only to sew large brass buttons:

In the same way sleeves of a jacket get off with a light thread:

Here's what you should end up with:

The same procedure is performed with the bottom:

A warm bike shirt will serve as a lining to the product, although you can take any other material. The lining is carefully sewn into the jacket, followed by zipper.

Ready jacket:

A warm autumn jacket for the baby will be a great addition to the wardrobe of any boy.
