Sweaters, blouses, cardigans can be knitted according to the patterns, then sew parts. But knitting in a seamless way is much more convenient.
Some "pluses":
- There are no seams and breaks of threads;
- There is no need to search for patterns and patterns, to tie out the sleeve ridge and armhole;
- Children's things are easy to "impose", increasing the length of the sleeves and the entire product, while not dissolving a cardigan or sweaters;
- When the cardigan becomes unnecessary, it is easy to dissolve it and reuse the threads, as there are no tears and knots.
- Ease of calculation.
Preparatory stage
The calculation is very easy to do. For sizes you only need to measure the circumference of the neck and the length of the raglan (from the armpit to the clavicle). Add 4 centimeters to the neck circumference and divide by 6. Two parts - this is the back, sleeves 1/6 of the volume, and two sixth parts to the front shelves. Raglan line can be from 2 loops or from one. If we knit a line with facial loops, we get a "raglan track", we will knit a line from one wrong side.
For a cardigan size of a girl of 2 years, 200 grams of wool mixture will be required, if 100 grams. skein 175 meters. For such a thickness of the thread we take the needles number 3,5. You can start knitting and knit to the end of the yoke on two long knitting needles, but it is more convenient to use circular knitting needles on a cable. Choose knitting needles on the cable, not on the fishing line, loops move along them more easily. Sleeves can be knitted on 4 knitting needles + fifth transitional.
You choose the threads to your taste, any thickness, it is not difficult to calculate the loops. It is enough to knit the selected knitting needles and the same pattern as you will knit a cardigan sample 10 * 10 centimeters. Then wet, dry and count how many loops in 1 centimeter horizontally and how many rows vertically.
We start to knit.
We collect 61 loops and knit, adding one loop on each side of the raglan line, when we knit a row on the front side. To do this, we make crochets and knit them when we knit the wrong side.
Having tied up the raglan line to the required length, the parts intended for the sleeves are temporarily launched with a thread of a different color.
We connect the shelves and the back, but between them you need to add five loops. (for a smaller size three, for a sweater for an adult seven loops). Having connected, we knit in front of and back the whole fabric.
Carefully dissolve the temporarily closed sleeve, we collect five loops from the already connected fabric under the armpit and knit. It is more convenient to knit a sleeve on five knitting needles, but you can also use circular ones. At a distance from the armpit to the elbow, you need to reduce the number of loops in the circumference of the sleeve. In our case, we reduce nine loops. In the same way we knit the second sleeve.
The final stage. We tie the gates, shelves, bottom of the sleeves and the whole cardigan crochet. For tying, you can use threads of a different color. Button closures are more convenient to crochet in the second or third half-columns.
Be sure to wash the finished product and put it on a thick cloth for drying, you can use it on a terry towel.
Using the seamless neck knitting method, you can knit items of any size. It’s quick and convenient to knit sweaters and shirts for adults and for children, women's blouses and pullovers.
