Not every couple of newlyweds currently rolls huge solemn feasts. Many simply prefer to spend this day exclusively with close people who are close to their hearts and souls. Accordingly, each bride, regardless of the number of invited people, should stock up on wedding invitations. And even better if she makes them herself. Currently, a very popular technique for this kind of product is scrapbooking. Any materials for creativity can be purchased in stores or needlework departments. Here, for example, if the newlyweds invited six or seven people or families to the wedding, each girl can create such wedding invitations on her own.
So, consider a detailed master class on making six invitations using the scrapbooking technique. What materials do we need for this:
• Three sheets of watercolor paper in A4 format;
• Two sheets of thick paper with white mother-of-pearl, A4 format;
• Cutting down a light pink butterfly six pieces;
• Cutting green leaves 12 pieces;
• About a meter of ribbons of a narrow white organza and peach organza 10 mm wide, about 1.5-2 meters of a pink satin ribbon 0.5 cm wide;
• Small peach-colored half beads with a diameter of 3 mm;
• Two stamps: one “Invitation” and “Wedding rings”, pink ink pad;
• Paper roses with a diameter of about 1.5 cm peach-pink;
• Thread with a needle, glue stick, double-sided tape, ruler, pencil, scissors, elastic.
We take a sheet of watercolor paper, turn it horizontally and divide it exactly in half.
So we divide all our three sheets and get these six blanks.
We need to receive invitations of 8 * 15 cm in size, therefore, from the prepared blanks, we cut off the extra segment, therefore, in expanded form, we should receive blanks of 15 * 16 cm in size.
We turn the workpiece so that the big side is horizontal, divide exactly in half by 8 cm and draw an invisible bend line with scissors.
Now we fold the resulting workpiece, it turns out the size is 8 * 15 cm. So we prepare all six workpieces.
Now we take a sheet of pearly white paper and mark rectangles 7.9 * 14.8 cm in size on each sheet, we get three rectangles on each sheet, respectively, we get six rectangles on two sheets (these will be the front blanks of the invitation, which we will decorate )
Cut out the resulting rectangles and remove the bastings with an eraser.
We take a pink satin ribbon, attach an invitation to the mother of pearl blank, as in the photo, and leave a small margin on both sides, about 3 cm each, for twisting. We divide the same workpiece into approximately equal halves, apply a ruler along the length and draw a line with the dotted line of the pencil in order to glue the ribbon evenly.
On the marked dashed line with a small margin on the sides we glue a double-sided tape, and on top a prepared satin ribbon.
We turn the ribbon on the sides and squeeze it well on both sides. Now we take a blank of watercolor paper.
Glue it with strips of adhesive tape and glue the pearl rectangle on top.
Now we add such a bow from ribbons and sew it with a thread.
We wind the roses on a toothpick to make a spiral stalk. On ordinary white paper, we stamp the inscription "Invitation" and cut out six rectangles with the inscription.
We glue two cut-out leaves for each invitation, a bow on top, then a rose. Glue a butterfly and a half bead above the ribbon, and a rectangle with the inscription at the bottom.
We get such wonderful invitations to a wedding celebration for six people or families.
Relatives and friends will be delighted! And the bride herself from their manufacture will receive a lot of pleasant sensations! Good luck with your creation!
