Soon the New Year 2015 will come, which according to the Eastern horoscope will be symbolized by the sign of the Blue Sheep. We give an example of a toy made by hand, which can be used as a decoration (for example, in a car or on a holiday fir tree).

You can make such a toy from improvised materials - I used the blue hood from the old jacket, and by the end of the second evening this toy was completely ready.
We will need:
1. Threads (white, blue and blue), a needle;
2. Fabric;
3. Vata or synthetic winterizer.

To all of the above we add scissors, glue, black and white paper, scotch tape (in order to make eyes, nose and mouth) - and you can get to work.

We start by drawing a sample of the future toy.

We cut out the resulting pattern, after which we divide it into separate parts, draw them on another sheet of paper and correct the details so that they become whole. So it will become more convenient to work with the fabric.

Having cut out all the samples, we begin to work with the fabric.

I drew each sample twice on separate edges of the fabric: first, the front side, and then the back side, turning the sample over. On the samples I wrote the names of the colors so as not to forget what color each future detail should have.
We cut out the details of our toy with a slight indentation for the seam.

At first I made the seam inner, but noticed that the toy was losing the clarity of the lines and it looked a little like a sheep; therefore connected the parts with an external seam. Having sewed their edges together, we stuff with cotton or synthetic winterizer, and then we sew it completely:

Now we set about making the ears of our sheep.

We do not fill the ears of the sheep with cotton, but we sew on them from the front side a white fabric, which, as it were, represents the inner part of the ear:

Next, we sew the ears, forelock, tail and head of the sheep to the body. I also made a sheep’s cup without cotton, but if desired, any of the readers and visitors who might try to make the same toy for the New Year’s holiday can fill the cup with cotton. It remains to make the eyes, nose, mouth and cheeks.

From black and white paper we make eyes with a mouth and a nose, and gluing them with tape so that the paper does not deteriorate quickly, we attach glue to the head.

After the eyes are glued, we make an eyelet in the toy so that it can stay on the Christmas tree branch (the main thing here is to correctly install the eyelet so that the lamb holds evenly).

We paint cheeks with a pink pencil.

Now our toy is ready. I hope that it will become a good symbol of the coming new year and will bring the most important thing to your home - comfort, good mood on New Year's Eve and, of course, happiness.
Sincerely, Dinara Vorobyova.
