In this article, you will learn how to make a simple, but very pretty Kanzashi flower with your own hands.
In order to make such a flower, you will need:
• Glue gun or transparent building glue.
• Satin ribbons 2.5 cm or 5 cm wide.
• Organza or tulle.
• Scissors.
• Candle.
• A piece of cardboard.
• Bead for the middle.

So, for starters, we will make a blank for future petals. Take the ribbon (I used the ribbon 5 cm wide) and cut it into 5 × 5 squares. We need 32-37 of such squares. Now cut each piece of ribbon in half. Take a candle and gently scorch the edges of the ribbons. This is done so that the fabric does not tear and it is convenient to work with it.

To make a petal, take one piece of ribbon and fold it as shown in the photo below. Trim one corner and scorch the edges again. On the other hand, bend the edges to each other and slightly melt the fabric over the candles. Then quickly press with your fingers or tweezers in the place of the alloy so that the leaf keeps its shape and does not fall apart. For the ribbon to wrinkle, you need to hold it for 2-3 seconds above the fire at a distance of about 20 cm. From all the ribbons, form similar petals.

Now we will make the base on which the petals will be mounted. Cut a small circle out of cardboard (diameter 4-5 cm.). Cut another square from the tape and glue them on both sides of the cardboard. Cut the excess, and scorch the edges.

Glue the petals to the base. Put a little glue on the petal and glue it to the edge of the mug. Continue sticking the leaves in a circle. The first row is ready! Getting to the second. Now the petals need to be glued closer to the center of the circle, between the petals of the previous row. Next, glue the petals of the third row. Each petal should be in contact with the neighboring one, so glue them tightly to each other and closer to the middle. It remains the turn of the last, top row of leaves. Five to seven of them will be enough.

It's time to make organza petals. Cut pieces of 5 × 5 centimeters from the fabric. From each piece cut a piece, you can use a blank from cardboard or cut "by eye". Now glue these sheets to the base, only on the back side.

To complete the flower, you need to attach a bead in the middle. It can be a rhinestone, a decorative pebble, or something else. That's all! Our flower is completely ready.

But do not think that such a flower is completely useless. It can be used as a brooch. To do this, you just need to glue a pin to the base of the flower. It can also be a festive bow. Glue a hair elastic, a hairpin or a hairpin and you are ready for an exclusive hair ornament.
